American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to circulate.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required; pending licensure is not accepted
- Active certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
- Ability to circulate is required
- Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- Labor & Delivery unit at a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Weekends may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
- Floating between all facilities within California is required and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Free parking available on-site
- Scrubs are provided for L&D
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Travel pairs will not be considered
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
- All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; minimal to no RTO is expected
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of Providence facilities must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
