Environment

The organization offers a stable, forward‑thinking practice environment where nursing leadership has a strong voice at the executive table. Educators are viewed as strategic partners, not support staff. • Oversee orientation, competency validation, continuing education, workflow optimization, and quality initiatives across surgical services.
  • Design and implement curricula with meaningful autonomy and hands‑on coaching in the OR.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing operations, infection prevention, sterile processing leadership, and quality teams to translate clinical standards into daily practice.
  • Guide clinical onboarding, competency programs, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to frontline staff and partner with executive leaders to advance patient safety, operational efficiency, and staff retention.
Qualifications
  • Experience as an OR nurse educator, surgical services educator, or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated leadership in perioperative education and quality improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and competency frameworks in perioperative care.
  • Ability to design and deliver evidence‑based educational programs.

Los Angeles, California – a year‑round coastal city with diverse neighborhoods, vibrant culinary and cultural scenes, and access to beach mornings, mountain hikes, and a major metropolitan hub.
