Operating Room Nurse
Job Description:
Join our Pediatric Operating Room team as a registered nurse in a bustling procedure center, where you’ll work four days a week, 10 hours each day from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role offers a chance to gain experience in a variety of surgical specialties, including ENT, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, and oncology. You’ll be supporting both inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients, with occasional adult cases, in a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes.
A strong background in general surgery and EMR systems is essential, along with current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. Your expertise will contribute directly to smooth surgical procedures and patient care coordination in a dynamic setting. This assignment is perfect for a nurse who thrives on variety and precision, and who enjoys working within a collaborative team during a schedule that covers five weekdays and two weekend shifts every six weeks.
