Job Description:

Join a pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as a Registered Nurse and get ready for a shift that balances the busy excitement of inpatient and outpatient care. This 13-week contract involves working four 10-hour days each week, starting between early morning hours of 5:30 and 7:30 AM, giving you extra time to enjoy the city once your day is done. With experience in pediatric PACU, you’ll handle a variety of cases from Trachs and vents to G-tubes and high-acuity special needs children.

The role requires working both Pre-Op and PACU, with some on-call shifts to add to the schedule’s rhythm. Expect to coordinate patient care in a Cerner-oriented environment, all while supporting children from neonates to young adults, excluding open-heart or transplant cases. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus in this bustling unit, which often cares for autistic and special needs children.
