Role Overview The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a Registered Nurse responsible for overseeing clinical and operational activities within a designated shift, supporting the unit director/manager in planning, organizing, and evaluating services. The ANM manages clinical and non-clinical staff, ensures compliance with professional standards and regulations, and fosters a culture of quality care through coaching, mentoring, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily nursing operations and staff performance
- Implement and monitor policies, clinical priorities, and regulatory requirements
- Support a patient-centered, whole-person care environment
- Provide managerial presence across shifts and contribute to performance evaluations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN); RN license in California
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Preferred: recent clinical experience in acute care, OR leadership, and shared governance experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
