Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Orange, CA 92865

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.

Salary & Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $17.87 to $19.87 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
  • Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 7 and 10 hours per week.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.
Your Role and Responsibilities

You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. You must use technology for daily work, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
  • Holiday support: Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may be required to work additional days and extended hours, including holidays themselves.
  • Department resets: You may be part of a team responsible for building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. You will be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments which may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you may support other team members as needed in their territories.
  • Physical Requirements

    This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will be working on the selling floor as well as in back stockrooms. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.

    You will also be required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and you may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

    Basic Qualifications
    • You are at least 18 years old.
    • You can read, write, and understand English.
    • You can lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
    • You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
    • You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
    • You have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
