Aboutthe role
The Inside Sales Representative – Air Distribution supports Toro Aire’s HVAC and commercial kitchen business by managing customer relationships, developing project opportunities, and driving equipment sales focused on air distribution products and HVAC solutions. This role partners closely with outside sales, engineering, and operations teams to quote projects, process orders, and support customers from early design through fulfillment. The Inside Sales Rep serves as a technical and commercial resource for contractors, engineers, and internal teams, helping ensure accurate solutions, timely follow-up, and an exceptional customer experience.
Jobduties
- Supporting assigned Outside Sales Engineers to facilitate sales
- Supporting fellow Inside Sales Engineers as back-up, when necessary
- Advising customers with the proper application and selection of the equipment we sell
- Preparing quotes for equipment based on customer input
- Entering orders for the equipment sold by the Outside Sales Engineers
- Detailed tracking of the order process
- Managing the virtual files for all projects in which assigned salespeople are involved
- Using the selection programs provided by our manufacturers to select and configure equipment for design and quoting to contractors
- Assisting customers with technical support on our product lines and maintaining good working relationships through verbal and written correspondence
- Preparing submittals for equipment sold
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) preferred, but will consider equivalent job experience.
- Must be extremely detailed oriented
- Customer service driven
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer skills
- Work well in a Team setting
- Thrive in a fast paced, multi-task environment
- Net Suite experience not required, but a big plus

Compensation$/hr DOE
