Role OverviewAs an Account Executive you will sell new business and manage a growing client portfolio through the value of CoStar products. This consultative role empowers you to build relationships, engage new clients, and oversee the entire sales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by promoting the value of CoStar products to the commercial real‑estate industry and beyond.
- Effectively manage and expand your client portfolio, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth of tailored solutions.
- Develop expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real‑estate market.
- Leverage your expertise through the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training, and renewal.
- Conduct in‑person meetings and deliver product demos to brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other commercial real‑estate professionals.
- Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long‑term relationships and a professional network.
- 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated commitment to prior employers and client management.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record/abstract.
- 5+ years of successful outside sales experience in a B2B environment selling data, research, analytic platforms, or related tools.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Interest in the commercial real‑estate market and willingness to develop expertise in CoStar’s product suite.
- Success in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Results‑driven mindset focused on customer satisfaction and market knowledge.

Pay Transparency: base salary range $70,000 – $80,000 plus uncapped commission. Other benefits include:
