Associate Territory Manager – Vascular Access
We are seeking a motivated, high-energy Associate Territory Manager (ATM) to join a growing Vascular Access sales team. This developmental sales role is designed for an individual looking to build a long-term career in medical device sales while gaining hands-on experience supporting hospital customers, clinicians, and an established Territory Manager. The Associate Territory Manager will help drive territory growth by developing customer relationships, supporting clinical education and product utilization, identifying new business opportunities, and assisting with day-to-day territory management.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Territory Manager to execute territory sales strategies and achieve revenue objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical leaders, hospital decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.
- Support existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand utilization and develop new business.
- Conduct product demonstrations, customer education, in-services, and clinical support as needed.
- Develop a strong understanding of vascular access procedures, clinical workflows, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Spend significant time in hospitals and clinical environments supporting customers and developing relationships.
- Prospect and develop new accounts and contacts throughout the assigned geography.
- Assist with account planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and territory management activities.
- Collaborate with sales, clinical, marketing, and other internal partners to provide a high level of customer support.
- Develop relationships across multiple levels within an account, including clinicians, department leadership, supply chain, and administration.
- Identify customer challenges and effectively communicate solutions that improve clinical and operational outcomes.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity information within the company's CRM system.
- Participate in sales meetings, training programs, conferences, and other professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn complex clinical and technical information and communicate it effectively to customers.
- Work toward progressively greater account and territory responsibility with the goal of advancement into a Territory Manager position.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1–3+ years of successful outside B2B, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or outside sales experience required.
- Demonstrated history of achievement, competitiveness, and exceeding performance expectations.
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in medical device sales.
- Highly coachable with the ability to receive feedback and quickly apply it.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage a variety of clinical and business stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
- Comfortable prospecting, developing new relationships, and asking for business.
- Ability to learn clinical concepts, anatomy, procedures, and technical information.
- Strong organizational and territory-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a broader sales team.
- Comfortable working in hospital and procedural environments.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and accommodate customer schedules as needed.
- Must pass a drug test and have a clean driving record of 3 years.
