As an Unarmed Security Officer you will be part of a security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues that require an enhanced presence and asset protective services. This position is integral to the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter‑Con provides daily.

• Perform Site access control functions to prevent the loss of equipment and assets.
• Interface with local law enforcement as necessary to assist with loss prevention.
• Notify off‑site emergency responders and Site Management as needed in the event of a fire or medical emergency not covered by the site Emergency Plan.
• Protect the workforce, customers, and visitors from costly and disruptive problems such as workplace violence, identity theft, and other crimes.
• Maintain security controls for 10 CFR Part 37, Physical Protection of Category 1 and Category 2 Quantities of Radioactive Material, as required.
• Conduct Alarm Station duties and responsibilities.
• Conduct security patrols and respond to alarms.
• Conduct vehicle control.
• Process visitors and provide escort duties.
• Support Emergency Response.

• Communicate clearly and concisely (written and oral) complex ideas and instructions.
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrate technical skills and use of tools.
• Perform physical tasks required for the job.
• Possess a California Guard card.
• First Aid, AED, and CPR certified.
• Hold a California Driver’s License.
• Availability on weekends.
