Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Orange, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, amenity spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with property access procedures while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
- Communicate security-related observations, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
