Experienced Painter

Experienced painter with extensive knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects. Skilled in surface preparation, color matching, paint application techniques, and using professional tools and equipment. Proven ability to deliver high-quality finishes, meet deadlines, maintain safety standards, and work independently or as part of a team. Key responsibilities include preparing surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming walls and structures.

Apply paint, stains, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Mix and match paint colors to customer specifications. Repair and smooth damaged surfaces before painting. Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and project specifications. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards. Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use ladders, scaffolding, and protective equipment.

Train or assist less experienced workers when needed. Estimate materials and supplies required for projects.

5+ years of professional painting experience. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment. Experience with residential and commercial projects. Attention to detail and ability to produce clean, precise work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
