Avangrid, a leading U.S. energy company with more than 3.4 million electric and natural gas customers across New York and New England, is seeking a Power System Engineer to support the reliability, safety, and modernization of its electric transmission and distribution networks.

The positions available range from Associate Engineer, Engineer, Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer, Principal Engineer, Supervisor.

Education & Experience Requirements:

The following requirements are provided as guidelines. Actual requirements may vary depending on the specific position.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Engineer

BS Required

2 years of experience (Industry Related)

Senior Engineer

BS required

5+ years of experience (Industry Related)

Lead Engineer

BS required with additional consideration given to applicants with Advanced Degrees or Certifications

7+ years of experience (Industry Related)

Principal Engineer

BS required with additional consideration given to applicants with Advanced Degrees or Certifications

10+ years of experience (Industry Related)
