The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location ranging from $140,000 to $176,400 plus up to 16% bonus.

Job Summary

The Manager - IT Product Management role is responsible for bridging between the operating company business stakeholders and IT technical teams, ensuring that IT services are aligned with the operating company’s organizational goals. The incumbent acts as the primary IT point-of-contact to the operating company, working with various IT teams to define and communicate customer‑service related solutions and services. Responsibilities include collaborating with operating company stakeholders, the regulatory team, and IT functions to understand business needs and user pain points, engaging stakeholders to gather and communicate requirements and feedback, and coordinating with project managers, business stakeholders, and IT technical teams to ensure timely delivery of services.

This role reports to the Director of IT Product Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with business area stakeholders and other IT functions to deliver customer‑service related solutions.
  • Analyze business area requests and engage business in prioritization.
  • Oversee coordination of user acceptance testing and cutover planning.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business team to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Facilitate translation of business and regulatory requirements to the IT team.
  • Coordinate joint continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement with the business areas.
  • Coordinate incident management and resolution.
  • Ensure effective communication with operating company stakeholders, including customer service.
  • Effectively coordinate with support team to ensure services are provided effectively.
  • Oversee overall service performance.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Prior leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities to business value.
  • Knowledge of utility customer services functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of CIS/CRM systems.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing end‑user or customer services functions in a large, complex organization.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and managing competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field of study.
  • Prior experience managing a team with close interaction with business stakeholders.
