About the Role
We are seeking a highly technical Senior Systems Administrator to support and enhance a complex hybrid IT infrastructure environment. This role is focused on maintaining system stability, security, performance, and operational efficiency across a Windows environment while driving infrastructure improvements and automation initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on infrastructure professional who thrives in enterprise environments and enjoys troubleshooting, security remediation, systems optimization, and modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Windows and Linux server environments
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, Power Shell scripting, and security policies
- Support physical and virtual infrastructure including Hyper-V and virtualization technologies
- Analyze and remediate infrastructure, systems, and IT security issues
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve operational processes and infrastructure reliability
- Support enterprise applications and ERP environments
- Implement automation and scripting solutions to improve efficiency
- Maintain system confidentiality, integrity, and availability following IT best practices
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Systems Administration experience in enterprise environments
- Strong Windows Administration experience including:
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- Power Shell scripting
- Security administration
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- IT Security or infrastructure certifications
- Experience with ERP systems and enterprise applications
- Experience improving infrastructure standards, automation, and operational processes
