Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Location and Shift

Saint-Gobain/Omniseal Solutions,
Orange, CT – Second Shift (Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm).

Base rate: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour plus $1.75/hr second shift differential. Eligible for periodic bonus payments up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Standard overtime at 1.5x hourly rate.

• Operate metal fabrication equipment to produce metal seals within tolerance specifications.
• Perform tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, following process sheets and operational parameters.
• Maintain overall responsibility for product quality, ensuring form, fit, and function.
• Read and interpret process sheets/work instructions.
• Set up and operate die forming and roll forming equipment.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy to blueprint.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and other operators to resolve production issues.
• Work safely at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent training and experience.
• Preferred:
  Minimum 3 years experience as a manufacturing operator.
• Experience with metal fabrication processes such as die forming, roll forming, welding.
• Experience with press operation and setup.
• Proficiency with measuring equipment such as calipers or micrometers.
• Ability to read and interpret job instructions and blueprints.
• Experience in a small production environment.
• Experience with seal products is a plus.
