Multi-skilled Carpenters/Handyman – Ace Handyman Services in Fairfield, Connecticut is seeking experienced carpenters with skills in multiple trades. We are a top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company serving homes and businesses throughout Fairfield and New Haven. W2 positions offer flexibility of an independent job; the company schedules work and the carpenter provides quality craftsmanship and customer service.

Workers will operate from home on a full‑time or part‑time basis, traveling to job sites in Fairfield County and surrounding areas using their own truck or van.

Annual salary range $50,000 to $60,000. Additional benefits include a vehicle and tool allowance, company credit card, performance bonuses, flexible scheduling, regular pay reviews, consistent year‑round work, and opportunities for advancement and growth.

• Perform carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, and light plumbing and electrical tasks across residential and commercial projects.
• Estimate work and conduct preliminary home inspections when required.
• Maintain a standard set of tools and ensure proper equipment operation.
• Travel to job sites and manage own truck or van.
• Provide excellent customer service through clear communication and professional demeanor.
• Document and invoice work accurately.

• Prior track record as a carpenter or craftsman.
• Estimation skills and experience with home inspections strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing work.
• Own standard set of tools.
• Own truck or van.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Residence within 40 miles of Orange, Connecticut.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
