The Southern Connecticut Gas Company seeks a Machine Operator A to operate digging and back filling equipment at CT - Orange. You will load and tow trailers for moving backhoes, trenchers, and pay loaders, and perform trenching work and repairs with power-operated equipment.
Responsibilities include digging, leveling, and back filling trenches, grading patches, and sometimes driving Street Department vehicles. CDL Class A tests and training completion are required for advancement.
