Site Superintendent

Zenith Construction is seeking a practical, hands‑on Site Superintendent to support field operations across New Jersey. We specialize in sports fields, public parks, and heavy‑duty concrete projects and expect the right candidate to understand that quality starts on the job site.

Full‑time

As a Site Superintendent, you will direct and supervise field crews and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and drawings; monitor work quality for grading, turf installation, drainage systems, and concrete; manage material staging and delivery; and communicate potential issues with the project manager.

• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience; experience in sports field construction, concrete, and utilities is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred but not required.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Construction Safety certification required.
• Valid NJ Driver’s License with a clean record mandatory.

• Direct and supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure adherence to the project specifications and drawings.
• Monitor and assure quality of work, especially grading, synthetic/natural turf installation, drainage systems, and structural/decorative concrete work.
• Manage staging, delivery, and inventory of materials (aggregates, turf, concrete, site furnishings) to ensure continuous productivity.
• Communicate any potential issues with the project manager ahead of time, request required information, inspections, and materials.
• Attend on‑site meetings as required for a project.

$100,000 – $120,000, based on prior experience and education.
