Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our growing dental practice in Orange, NJ. This is a vital role where you'll be the bridge between our patients and their insurance providers, helping ensure a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits for patients prior to appointments
• Submit and track dental insurance claims, including primary and secondary billing
• Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and appeals with insurance carriers
• Communicate treatment coverage, co-pays, and out-of-pocket costs clearly to patients
• Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately in dental practice management software
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure proper procedure coding (CDT codes) on claims
• Maintain accurate patient insurance records and update information as needed

• 1+ years of dental insurance billing or dental front office experience preferred
• Familiarity with CDT codes, EOBs, and dental insurance terminology
• Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and patient-facing customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy dental office environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental billing certification a plus
