About the Role:

Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a friendly and organized New Patient Coordinator to join our dental team in Orange, NJ! In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for new patients, helping create a welcoming experience from the very first call. Responsibilities:

• Greet and onboard new patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming intake process
• Schedule and confirm new patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history forms
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication
• Follow up with prospective patients via phone, email, or text to convert inquiries into appointments
• Explain treatment plans, financial options, and office policies to new patients
• Maintain accurate patient records and update databases in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Google reviews,Social media posting and asking for referals

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a dental office, medical front desk, or patient coordinator role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance verification, and scheduling software
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy front office environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or dental practice management systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc.)
• Bilingual candidates are a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or healthcare training a bonus
