Job Summary

The Academic Resource Center is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our academic support team as Peer Academic Success Coaches. Peer Academic Success Coaches play a crucial role in fostering student success by providing one‑on‑one coaching, mentorship, and academic support.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct one‑on‑one coaching sessions with assigned students to discuss academic goals, challenges, and strategies for success.
  • Provide support in areas such as time management, study skills, note‑taking, and goal setting.
  • Collaborate with students to create personalized academic improvement plans.
  • Assist students in accessing and utilizing campus resources, tutoring services, and academic workshops.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes student engagement and success.
  • Keep accurate records of coaching sessions and student progress.
Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate.
  • Strong academic standing with a demonstrated understanding of effective study strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to empathize with and motivate peers facing academic challenges.
  • Reliable and punctual with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Previous peer mentoring, coaching, or leadership experience is a plus.
