Join Our Team as a Program Coordinator! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth? We are looking for a dedicated Program Coordinator to oversee dynamic program services, manage day-to-day operations, and work directly with youth to help them thrive.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead program management, budgeting, and supervision, ensuring the success of initiatives designed to empower and support youth at risk of gang involvement, criminal activity, and substance use.
- Build strong partnerships with community organizations, schools, and the juvenile justice system.
- Supervise OTARY graduate interns and coordinate group sessions aimed at reducing at-risk behaviors.
- Research and implement evidence-based practices (EBPs) to create engaging and impactful group curricula.
- Represent the program at resource fairs and community events, ensuring continued growth and visibility.
- Manage program evaluations, quarterly reports, and ensure adherence to funding requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or Criminal Justice. A Master’s in Social Work or Counseling with LAC or LSW is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience working with youth, including group facilitation and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and cultural competence skills.
- Experience working in urban areas with at-risk youth, understanding adolescent behaviors, substance abuse, and emotional learning.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present at community events and network effectively.
- This role requires frequent standing, bending, lifting, and occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).

Salary: $50,000 - $53,450
Vacation & Benefits- Vacation:
As a full-time employee working generally 35 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the Family Connections group benefit plans.
