LSCO publishes an Annual Security Report that provides information regarding campus Safety & Security, including topics such as crime reporting policies, information regarding programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking, the procedures the College will follow when one of these crimes is reported, and other matters of importance related to security on campus.
The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes.

Job Summary GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe LSCO Event Coordinator reports to the Director of Hospitality & Events. The Event Coordinator performs administrative work related to booking and executing events. Duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
ESSENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Schedule and conduct venue tours for prospective clients and community partners.
- Correspond with all interested parties on venue rentals. This includes campus executives, department heads for meetings, outside businesses, and outside individuals for personal events.
- Develops contracts for rental agreements describing services to be rendered and needed equipment and personnel for the event.
- Develops and ensures compliance with facility use policies and procedures.
- Ensures all renters obtain proper insurance and supply documentation as proof prior to events.
- Assists in planning, implementing, and logistical support for college functions, special events, community events, and programs.
- Develops and maintains a working relationship with faculty, staff and leaders of outside groups in planning and scheduling events and programs for the college located at any of our venues.
- Makes arrangements for event staffing security, facilities and amenities with the college and approved vendors.
- Serve as on-site representative during events.
- Manages/maintains the calendar of events for the venue.
- Works with custodial and physical plant personnel to ensure cleaning, setup and takedown, and reset of the venue.
- Assists with the marketing and promotion of the LSCO event venues to increase usage of the facility.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Associate/ Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCEExperience One to three years of experience in hospitality, sales, customer service, marketing, event administration, or venue management preferred.

- Experience in MS Word or Excel, Canva or like programs preferred.
Requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, client/customer contact and indoor activity. Requires occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, crawling, twisting upper body, carrying and or lifting up to 25 pounds, outdoor activity, and extreme noise.
