Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Substitute must pay a non-refundable fee of approximately $50.00 and have a satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check.

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Physical/Mental Demands Withstand demands of working with students and faculty. Documents must be provided upon application submission:
Two letters of character reference, copy of your high school or college transcripts, and a copy of applicable teaching certification if you are a certified teacher

** New applicants MUST attend a required substitute training at the Administration Building, 1600 MLK Drive, Jefferson, TX 75657**
** Applicants MUST bring their Drivers License and Social Security Card on training day**
