ARLANXEO has a new career opportunity available for a Utilities Operations/PCS Electrical Engineer at our Orange Manufacturing site.
As a Utilities Operations/PCS Electrical Engineer
, you will be responsible for the Utility technical decisions and recommendations from an electrical, mechanical, and operations perspective. This position is also responsible for the offsites area as a process steward, providing leadership in keeping the site infrastructure operating at a high level of integrity and reliability.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Lead the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site utilities and offsites infrastructure, providing technical expertise across electrical, mechanical, process, and operations disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry codes and standards, and company engineering specifications through coordination with maintenance, capital, and operations teams.
- Develop, review, and optimize preventive and condition-based maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, asset integrity, and operational performance.
- Manage and support DCS, PLC, OT, and cybersecurity systems, including troubleshooting, system upgrades, audits, security implementation, and incident response activities.
- Lead incident investigations, equipment failure analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute capital projects, Management of Change (MOC) activities, and continuous improvement projects to improve utilities performance, quality, environmental compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain utility electrical and mechanical infrastructure, critical equipment documentation, PSM procedures, and ISO-related standards while providing advanced troubleshooting support for complex equipment and system issues.
In order to accomplish this, you will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial utility operations environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting utility systems such as power distribution, steam generation, cooling water, compressed air, nitrogen, wastewater, and related site infrastructure.
