Painter- Austin Industrial - Orange, TX

Full‑time maintenance Painter position, 40 hours per week, no per diem, no relocation funding.

• Prepare wood and metal surfaces for painting using brush and roller techniques.
• Read work orders and follow verbal instructions.
• Remove dirt, oil, grease; remove old paint; smooth cracks and fill holes.
• Fill cavities and dents with putty to achieve a smooth surface.
• Select and mix coating liquids to produce desired color per specifications using a paddle or mechanical mixer.
• Work from scaffolding, ladders, and JLG lifts; erect or set up scaffold or ladder for tasks above ground level.
• Perform physical tasks requiring full range of mobility in upper and lower body, reach overhead, work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting), use hands to handle objects or controls, climb stairs, work at heights, and balance for extended periods.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 3‑5 years of Journeyman‑level experience in commercial brush and roller work.
• Must pass pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Valid driver’s license.
