Clean Harbors is looking for Chemical Handlers to join our safety-conscious team.
Must be willing to wear a Tyvek suit.
Responsibilities- Making waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility; wearing Tyvek suit as needed
- Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation
- Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance
- Participating in spill response on customer’s site as needed
- Operating forklifts
- Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles
- Completing waste stream sampling and profiling
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Willingness to complete a DISA background check, drug test (hair follicle), and physical
- Competitive hourly pay ($23.00–$26.00, DOE)
