Responsibilities
- Filing correspondence and contracts
- Data entry in spreadsheets
- Processing invoices
- Assisting with coordination of travel arrangements
- Routing customer requests to appropriate staff
- Contacting job applicants to schedule interviews
- Conducting driver's license screening
- Registering employees for training in LMS
- Assisting with time administration
- Drafting letters
- Assembling handouts for meetings
- Acting as receptionist for the district office
- Greeting visitors upon arrival and notifying appropriate staff
- Receiving phone calls and transferring to appropriate District Office personnel or county offices
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring the office supply cabinet is stocked
- Helping District Office employees with procurement needs using purchase orders or procurement card
- Maintaining filing system for procurement card records
- Providing requested procurement card records for audits
- Maintaining a current list of procurement card holders for the District
- Assisting District Administrative Coordinator with CTS letters, FOIA requests, and CSCTS requests
- Performing during inclement weather events
- Performing other related duties as assigned
A high school diploma and six (6) months of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands for the essential functions of this position include sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside of normal work schedule, especially during inclement weather and/or other departmental-related emergencies.
