Utility Foreman

Based in Orangeburg, SC, we are a full-service contractor specializing in land clearing & grubbing, site grading, demolition and SCDOT highway work. • Supervise and lead crews performing installation of water, sewer, storm drainage, and other underground utility systems.
• Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and site layouts to guide daily tasks.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, inspectors, and other trades to keep the project moving on schedule.
• Ensure all utility work meets local, state, and project-specific codes and requirements.
• Set daily tasks, manage manpower, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, quantities, and timecards.
• Conduct site safety meetings and enforce all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Oversee trenching, pipe layout, elevations, and backfill to ensure correct installation.
• Inspect completed work and perform quality control checks.
• Troubleshoot field issues and adjust plans as needed.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed (excavator, loader, etc.)
