About the Position
Description
A healthcare organization in Orangeburg, South Carolina is seeking a  Breast Radiologist  for a  locum maternity leave assignment  focused on outpatient women’s imaging and breast cancer detection.

The provider will work in a collaborative radiology environment delivering diagnostic imaging services for screening and diagnostic breast imaging studies.

This role offers the opportunity to support a women’s health imaging program while working alongside multidisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care.

Physicians may also provide imaging support across affiliated diagnostic locations within the network.

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies

• Perform and review breast ultrasound imaging

• Conduct breast imaging evaluations and diagnostic procedures

• Collaborate with oncology, surgical, and primary care teams

• Ensure accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR

• Provide imaging coverage across affiliated locations when needed

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology

• Breast Imaging Fellowship required

• Active South Carolina medical license

• MQSA compliant with required case logs

• Experience in breast imaging interpretation and diagnostics

• Breast Imaging Fellowship training

• Board Eligible in Radiology (within 5 years) or Board Certified

• Active South Carolina medical license

• MQSA compliance with 24 months of breast imaging case logs

• NPDB Self-Query report pulled within the last 30 days

• Strong proficiency with Epic EMR

• Ability to provide breast imaging coverage across affiliated imaging locations
