The incumbent should be able to teach Introduction to Sociology;
Sociological Theory;
Sociological Methods:
Senior Seminar; and at least two of the following:
Rural Sociology;
Qualitative Methods/Statistics;
Medical Sociology;
Human Sexuality; or Gerontology. Command of English and the ability to interact successfully with students from diverse backgrounds is required. Teaching load is four classes a semester. They would also be required to advise students and serve on various committees.
