Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary level education within a school setting. The role involves providing core replacement services for South Carolina classes, ensuring students with special needs receive tailored instruction and support. The assignment is based in St. George, South Carolina, with a start date of December 20 and will continue through the end of the school year on a contracted basis.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers, and adapting curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will support student development, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
