- Develop and deliver lectures and coursework on various criminal justice topics.
- Design, develop, implement, and revise courses, curricula, and academic programs that support program objectives that align with departmental, college, and university goals.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the field of criminal justice.
- Prepare and grade assignments, exams, and projects.
- Provide mentorship and academic advising to students.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation.
- Conduct and publish research in the field of criminal justice.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of the educational program.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development activities (university, college and departmental).
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Master's degree in criminal justice or a closely related field.
- Professional experience in the criminal justice system.
- Ph.D. in Criminal Justice or a related field.
- Experience in law enforcement or criminal justice research.
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
