South Carolina States College of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences seeks an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education (Tenure Track). The selected candidate must be passionate about teaching and inclusive pedagogy; dedicated to developing meaningful, collegial working relationships with students, faculty, and staff across campus; and committed to actively contributing to SCSU's Teacher Education mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise Math Education students during Field Clinical Experience
Assist in Program Coordination
- Teach courses face-to-face on campus
- Teach classes online when necessary
Ph.D. in Mathematics Education
Preferred Requirements for Entry into position:- Ph.D in Mathematics with experience in K-12
Demonstrated experience in the K-12 setting
Experience in teaching at the higher education level
Evidence of strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Effective written communication skills
