- Telemetry experience including interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Experience in community hospitals is preferred
- Must be able and willing to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs

Description:

This position requires an RN specializing in Medical Surgical Telemetry for day shifts.
The standard patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5.
Travelers will be expected to work every other weekend.
On-call duties are not required for this position.
The candidate will need to manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring.
Common patient diagnoses include diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, end-stage renal disease, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias.
Interdisciplinary support consists of physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support.
All RTO (requests for time off) must be included at the time of application submission.
There is no parking cost for employees.
The facility has a total of 286 staffed beds.
Travelers should be prepared for potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
All modules spent on compliance training are non-billable and typically require approximately 4 hours of your time prior to starting the assignment.
