Position: Travel Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse - $1,814 per week

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 across all shifts

• Every other weekend requirement

• No on-call responsibilities

• Float within scope to meet facility needs and between like units

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIH preferred

• Telemetry competency required

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Royal blue scrubs required

• Epic charting system

• 24 orientation hours provided

• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, HTN, CAD, seizure, CVA, TIA, and CRD

• Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary

• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required from June through November

This acute care hospital is a 286-bed Level III trauma center that utilizes Epic charting systems and provides comprehensive medical services. The facility maintains a 43-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with a daily census of approximately 36 patients. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support services and maintains modern equipment to support quality patient care across various medical specialties.
