Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with weekend shifts required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN) to join our team for the night shift. This role will require the ability to provide care for adult and geriatric patients, including those with common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to manage patients' cardiac status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate patient records in the Epic charting system.
• Provide patient and family education on health management and recovery strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Current South Carolina RN License or Compact License required.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is mandatory.
• Experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is required.
