Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on telemetry and medical surgical nursing. This role involves monitoring cardiac and telemetry patients, interpreting dysrhythmias, and providing comprehensive patient care in line with established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings
• Administer medications and manage patient care plans
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• SC RN License or Compact License in hand prior to start
• Experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias
