- Start Date: March 24, 2026
- End Date: June 23, 2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,640 – $1,730
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required within scope to meet facility and department needs
- Charting System: Epic EMR required (Epic experience preferred)
- Unit Details: 37-bed Emergency Department (ED), ~130 visits per day, all age groups (neonates to geriatrics)
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Parking: Free on-site
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN (ER RN) experience required — experience in high-acuity ED preferred
- First-time travel RNs accepted (must have ER experience)
- Active South Carolina RN license or multistate/compact RN license (must be active by start date)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association required)
- Preferred certifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and CPI
- Epic EMR / Epic charting experience required
- Ability to float to similar units as needed to support staffing and patient care
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Provide safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED)
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and initiate appropriate interventions for a wide range of emergency conditions
- Start and maintain IVs, administer medications, manage blood products, and document care in Epic
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; administer continuous IV sedation and vasopressors as indicated
- Care for ventilated patients and manage BiPAP/CPAP; assist with airway management and intubation support
- Participate in trauma resuscitation, code response, and rapid sequence interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
- Maintain infection control, isolation precautions, and appropriate PPE use
- Float to similar units when required to meet department needs
- Work in a busy, well-supported 37-bed Emergency Department — strong clinical experience for your resume
- Epic EMR environment to maintain and grow electronic charting skills
- Free on-site parking and clear scrub policy (Royal Blue)
- Experience South Carolina living with easy access to Columbia and Charleston while on assignment
