Addiction Medicine Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant

Family Health Centers, Inc. (FQHC) is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join our growing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Recovery Services Program.

This provider will deliver evidence-based treatment for substance use disorders while providing integrated primary care and behavioral health services to patients throughout our rural South Carolina communities.

What You'll Do

* Provide outpatient addiction medicine services

* Prescribe and manage buprenorphine and other MAT medications

* Treat opioid, alcohol, and other substance use disorders

* Provide primary care services to MAT and behavioral health patients

* Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and hepatitis C

* Collaborate with behavioral health counselors, psychiatric providers, case managers, and community health workers

* Participate in a team-based, integrated care model

Qualifications

* MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant licensed in South Carolina

* Active DEA registration

* Experience with MAT or substance use treatment preferred

* Experience in primary care, behavioral health, or community health preferred
