Registered Nurse
Position available for an experienced Registered Nurse in the MS Tele specialty. The position involves working night shifts, 3 shifts per week. Patient ratios are typically 1 nurse to 6 patients. Every other weekend commitment is required. Nurses will float within their scope to meet facility needs. This is a new unit being built from the ground up with modern bedside monitoring capability.
Charge responsibilities are shared between stepdown and the designated unit. Leadership is available during off-shift hours and accessible by phone. There is continuous 24/7 coverage by a house supervisor. Prior experience in a community hospital is preferred. Candidates must complete all compliance requirements before starting. Diverse patient diagnoses will include common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic respiratory illnesses, and dysrhythmias.
Interdisciplinary support is provided, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The position is suitable for individuals who excel in cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias.
