Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical and telemedicine patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. Ensure patient safety, monitor clinical parameters, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret telemetry data, and identify dysrhythmias.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate issues to appropriate team members.
• Collaborate with staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in South Carolina or compact license with approval to practice in SC.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSST certifications required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
