Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting during night shifts. Monitor patient conditions, interpret telemetry data, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and perform treatments according to physician orders.
• Continuously monitor patient vital signs, telemetry, and responses to treatments.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and assist with clinical procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSST certifications required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and telemetry data.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
