Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend required.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry RN to join our team for a night shift position. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients in a telemetry unit, interpreting dysrhythmias, and providing comprehensive nursing care. The new unit is currently being established and will provide a dynamic work environment.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry.
- Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. - Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
