Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele RN) for a new unit. This position involves patient monitoring and care for adults and geriatrics, using advanced bedside monitoring technology. The ideal candidate will work alongside a supportive leadership team and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and dysrhythmias.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient needs and progress.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
- Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. - Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
