Registered Nurse Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

This role involves providing specialized MS Telemetry nursing care on a night shift within an acute care hospital setting. The RN will monitor and interpret telemetry data, manage patient care, and collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care with a focus on telemetry monitoring, including interpreting dysrhythmias and managing bedside equipment.
• Operate and interpret bedside monitor readings, including telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Document patient data accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Float within scope to meet unit needs and support various care areas as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active South Carolina license or Compact license prior to start; license must be in hand.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele telemetry experience, including dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSST certifications.
• Demonstrate experience working in a community hospital environment.
• Be capable of working the night (3x12) shift and participating in a rotational every other weekend schedule.
• Have excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
