MS Tele RN Position
Position available for an experienced MS Tele RN. Shift is 3x12 days from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM. Patient ratios are 1:6. The unit is a newly established environment with 18 beds. Bedside monitoring includes telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. Charge responsibilities are shared between stepdown and the designated unit. No off-shift management is scheduled, but leadership is available for support via phone.
There is 24/7 coverage by a house supervisor. Every other weekend commitment is non-negotiable. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Community hospital experience is preferred. Candidates must possess skills in cardiac telemetry and management of dysrhythmias. Daily patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with common medical conditions. Interdisciplinary support includes various services such as Physical Therapy and Social Services. All time off must be disclosed at the time of application for scheduling purposes.
Please note, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June to November. Candidates must ensure compliance with all necessary pre-start requirements.
