Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help identify suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations;
Respond to alarms, calls for service, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and local emergency responders as needed;
Control access at designated points by verifying identification, managing visitor processes, and/or directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site protocols;
Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations, and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements
