As a Law Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, regulations, and university policies while maintaining a visible presence on campus to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of the community.
Key Responsibilities Include- Patrolling campus grounds, buildings, and facilities to detect and prevent potential threats or disturbances.
- Responding promptly to calls for service, emergencies, and incidents, assessing situations, and taking appropriate action.
- Conducting thorough investigations, gathering evidence, and preparing detailed reports.
- Collaborating with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
- Providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with the campus community.
To excel in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid South Carolina Driver's License is required. Preference will be given to candidates with previous law enforcement experience or relevant training. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to professionalism are essential.
